That little short story between these last 2 books where he was not the chosen narrator.well. Whatever pay you need to offer him to keep him happily narrating these series I suggest you pay. Graeme Malcolm has it in his power, he IS Hamish, and Hamish IS him. That would have been very messy, so to you fans hesitating as I did if you want to read for that reason, and were dissatisfied with the prior collab, take a sigh of relief and forge on. Glad R.W was smart enough to realize it is not his place to do that yet. per the book cover I was already on edge that Lugs might be in danger of not making it. It was risky the implications that Hamish would have to say goodbye to one of his friends. So is it perfect?.no.but it was good enough that I don't feel like hope is gone.I now eagerly await the next in this series. There were some instances where you know Marion is gone. I at least felt like I was in Loc duh again. Back was the hilarious funny humor significant to balance. this is vastly better than R.W.'s first collab attempt.
